Christopher Smith
I understand it is difficult to seek help. Typically the idea of therapy can feel overwhelming especially if it is the first time. I strive to make the therapeutic process comfortable and accessible. Through the use of a more direct style of therapy and evidence-based approaches, I help Clients take an active approach to making change in their lives.
As the former the Director of Behavioral Health of the University of Oregon's Athletic Department and other university counseling positions, I have experience working with individuals in college settings. I specialize working with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, sports performance, men’s issues, and disordered eating. Populations I also have experience working with are professional/collegiate and Olympic level athletes, persons of color, and men.
My hope is that you feeling safe enough to take on the challenge of enacting change in your life. If it sounds like I could be helpful in creating positive change in your life, please fee reach out to schedule a free 20 minute consultation!
