Dr. Amanda Student, DSW, LCSW
Feeling stuck? Questioning whether therapy is right for you—or worth it? You’re not alone. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s also one of the most empowering steps you can take toward understanding yourself and creating meaningful change.
I take a collaborative, down-to-earth approach to therapy, grounded in empathy, honesty, and a judgment-free space. I incorporate creative and flexible therapeutic techniques to meet you where you are and help you build insight, resilience, and confidence.
Since 2012, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, family stress, substance use, eating disorders, and life transitions. I have a strong understanding of the unique pressures students face and aim to provide support that feels both practical and relatable.
Reaching out can be hard—but you don’t have to figure things out on your own. We’ll take this step together.
