Jillian Velekkakan
Welcome! Taking the first steps towards finding a therapist you "click" with can be intimidating (and exhausting) so I give you tons of credit for getting this far.
I feel honored to work with my clients because I know how hard it can be to open up about personal things. I believe in the healing power of a strong therapeutic relationship, a relationship where you feel truly "seen" and understood.
I like to think of a therapist's role as a supportive, steady companion who walks next to you on your path. While I certainly do not have all the answers, I do have plenty of skills and experience that might be helpful along the way.
Part of what I love about being a therapist is hearing people's rich stories of not only heartache and struggle, but resilience and healing. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to talk about those deeply personal experiences.
If it sounds like we might "click", feel free to reach out to schedule an intro call. I look forward to it!
