First off, I would like to thank you sincerely for allowing me to be a part of your personal journey. I appreciate how difficult it is to share your most intimate, private thoughts and feelings, and will guarantee you a trustworthy, supportive, and honest relationship if you choose to enter one.
I am Rakell, a Licensed Social Worker continuously striving to enhance my education and experience. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work. Additionally, I am certified in Child Welfare and Trauma-Informed Care, always embracing new training opportunities to expand my knowledge.
Many of my clients often face trauma, mental health challenges, or complex family dynamics. They seek a compassionate and skilled therapist who understands the multifaceted nature of their experiences and can provide effective, evidence-based support. Their goals may include healing from past trauma, improving family relationships, managing anxiety or depression, or navigating life's transitions with greater resilience.
In my practice, I take a trauma-focused approach while considering the systemic factors that influence each client's life. I employ a variety of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. I work with children, adolescents, families, couples, the elderly, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
I look forward to meeting you and joining your lifelong journey to embrace your health—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and culturally. If chosen to be your therapist, I will always promote safety, security, happiness, and positivity in a non-judgmental manner. I believe that a positive therapeutic relationship is a crucial tool for enhancing your healing process and capabilities. Together, we can build that relationship and work towards your goals. If this relationship does not work out, I will make every effort to provide referrals that may suit you better.
Let's take this step together and create a path towards a healthier, more fulfilling life. Reach out to begin your journey of healing and growth.
