Roxy Schoenfeld, MA, LCAT, RDT
College is intense, and brings up all kinds of challenges: in your classes, in figuring out who you are, in your social life.
It all moves so quickly, and can be so overwhelming! Together, we can slow it down and process what's going on, as well as figure out what you want to change. I'm here for you!
As a queer genderqueer drama therapist, I specialize in working with queer and trans folks, anti-zionists, and those interested in disrupting white supremacist and ableist systems of pathology. We will co-create a space that feels supportive enough for you to reconnect with your body, feel more confident in yourself, and maybe even have a laugh in the process.
You might feel like you don't know where to begin. I've got you! You have lots of options, ranging from drama therapy to relational talk therapy- I love to collaboratively tailor these methods to support you in disrupting frustrating repetitive patterns, understanding and accepting yourself, and communicating more easily in your relationships.
The world is hard. We're not going to pretend otherwise. But in the meantime, you deserve support. It's a brave move to reach out to a new therapist. I'm excited to meet you!
