I am a psychotherapist in private practice in Manhattan. After finishing a Masters of Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania, I completed a four year post-graduate program at the William Alanson White Institute, a psychoanalytic institute in New York City. In my practice, I work with people who are experiencing a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties. I also work with individuals who are interested in improving their understanding of themselves or an aspect of their lives, or who want to be better able to make choices that lead to a sense of fulfillment. My goal is to provide a warm and collaborative relationship in which these topics can be explored. I believe that a successful therapeutic relationship is based on trust and can help bring about growth and change. I offer clinical supervision to psychotherapists in private practice and as part of the William Alanson White Institute's Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program. I am also an Associate Editor for the academic journal Contemporary Psychoanalysis.

I am a clinical social worker and expressive art therapist. I'm passionate about art and mental health education and use both to support people as they develop skills and learn therapeutic tools to manage symptoms. In individual therapy, I enjoy working with young adults to help them develop positive relationships with themselves. I want to learn about you, how you think, how you learned those things, and what truly energizes you. Therapy can focus on processing the past using art and EMDR while also focusing on falling in love with the present. My speciality is using expressive art in therapy. Whether you believe yourself to be creative or not, my hope is to guide you through different ways to use art for relaxation and self-expression in group, individual, and family sessions. Sometimes words are not enough.

At Topsail Addiction Treatment in North Andover, we’re here for college students from Merrimack College—literally right down the street—and nearby spots like Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill or UMass Lowell, who are battling addiction while trying to keep their college life together. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is built for students like you—maybe you’re a Merrimack Warrior stressed out from exams and turning to drinking or drugs to cope, or a commuter student from Lawrence feeling trapped by a gambling habit that’s spiraled out of control. We connect best with those who are juggling school, work, or campus vibes but finding that substance use or betting is throwing them off track. We’re a great fit for students who are ready to face the mess—whether it’s partying too hard to numb the pressure, skipping classes because of a hangover, or losing cash you can’t afford on bets—and want to get back to feeling steady without dropping everything. Our clients often share a craving to reclaim their focus—to nail that paper, hang with friends without needing a drink, or just wake up clear-headed. Located just a couple miles from Merrimack College in North Andover, we’re easy to reach from Andover, Methuen, or Haverhill, and we’ve got your schedule covered with morning, afternoon, and evening IOP sessions. Got daytime classes? Our evening options let you hit the books during the day and get support after. Whether you’re the social type who’s overdone it, the stressed-out student hiding a pill problem, or the risk-taker who’s in too deep with gambling, our IOP offers a no-shame space to figure it out with a team that gets the college grind. With flexible sessions to match your life—mornings for early risers, afternoons for between-class gaps, or evenings to keep your days free—we’re here to help you break free from addiction and get back to thriving. Ready to take control and still keep your college groove? We’re just down the road.

I believe in the restorative power of hope. Over the course of my career I have been able to support clients to internalize the belief that they can make change in their lives. From focusing on eliminating inner negative chatter to processing an acute trauma, I strive to create opportunities for the achievement of one's goals. Through partnership, trust and the sharing of knowledge, real movement can occur. There is hope. Licensed as both a mental health and addictions specialist counselor, I work with both individuals and couples. I practice remotely in Colorado and Rhode Island. I completed my Master of Arts and Master of Education in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University. My deep professional satisfaction is grounded in the experience of growth and recovery that clients obtain through our efforts. I partner with individuals offering compassionate, trauma-informed care that promotes healing and personal growth. Partnering as a relational helper, I hope to expand from problem-focused stories to those of strength and resilience, matched with empowerment and a clearer sense of agency, working together to create the desired changes. I have experience working with individuals, from diverse backgrounds. My areas of work have included but are not limited to struggles around anxiety, depression, identity concerns, self-esteem issues, trauma, life transitions, relational issues, and daily stressors. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from various practices such as relational therapy, narrative therapy, client-centered therapy, attachment theory, some features of dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic framework, and I approach therapy through a mindfulness, justice-orientated, culturally sensitive, queer-affirmative and a trauma informed lens. I believe in a relational process in which finding a therapist that is a "good fit" as the groundwork for a supportive, transformative process. I believe that every individual can examine their life's journey and own their story; all while strengthening self-compassion and working to navigate who and how to be in relationships. Stepping into the therapeutic process is the first movement towards self-discovery and growth! "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do" -Brene' Brown

Healing doesn’t have to feel so heavy all the time. Life can be tough, but your therapy journey doesn't have to be. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or just trying to understand what on earth is going on, I’m here to help with compassion, curiosity, and (yes!) even a dash of humor. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the tools to create a life you truly enjoy. Along the way, we’ll celebrate the small wins, unpack the big stuff, and maybe even laugh a little. Growth is serious work, but it doesn’t have to feel that way the entire time.
