Brittannie Moroz is a board-certified, Licensed Professional Counselor located in Lynchburg, VA. Brittannie is passionate about providing effective therapy services to individuals that have previously experienced trauma. She works with clients whose trauma came from neglect in childhood, abusive relationships as an adult, being a victim of a crime, or many other situations. This trauma may manifest in panic attacks, prolonged periods of sadness, difficulty trusting others, feeling detached from an authentic self, or addictive behaviors. Brittannie provides trauma-informed therapy services for all clients, which means that she has additional training in how to ensure that all clients feel comfortable, safe, and secure in the therapy environment. Her work with clients is client-led, as she collaborates with each client on their treatment plan and honors the client's expertise in their own life experiences. Brittannie will often also draw from mindfulness, somatic, and other holistic approaches to support clients in experiencing felt safety. Are you seemingly okay on the outside, but uncomfortable and anxious underneath? Do relationships with family, friends, or romantic partners feel stressful? Perhaps you are struggling to figure out your path in college or after graduation? It’s really hard to navigate relationships and decisions for yourself now, for the first time! I believe college and your 20s are the most important time where you can shape your future by learning about yourself. Often, you grow up not really knowing you are and who you want to be, and feel lost when you try to figure this out. I’d love to support you as you navigate this time by really listening and understanding you, providing non-judgmental guidance and empathy, and asking you helpful questions. I focus on issues with life transitions (yes college and graduation), self esteem, anxiety, interpersonal conflict and communication, dating, perfectionism, break-ups, and stress. Common goals include reducing anxiety, finding a suitable partner, building connection, stronger communication, creating healthy boundaries, finding purpose/career, managing life transitions, and increasing coping skills and confidence. My clients don't fill empty spots! This is my passion and you are so important to me; I remember details and strategize between sessions ensuring you receive the best care in return for your commitment to therapy.

Hi there — I'm glad you're here. I work with thoughtful, high-achieving students who seem like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly exhausted on the inside. You might be the friend everyone counts on, the one who never says “no,” even when you're running on empty. Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of overthinking, overworking, and still feeling like it’s never enough. College life can feel like a nonstop pressure cooker — but it doesn’t have to be this hard. My approach is holistic, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you feel more like yourself again. I blend tools from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Somatic Therapy to help you better understand your stress, listen to your body’s cues, and build coping strategies that actually work for you. Let’s connect for a free consult and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to figure this all out alone.
