Have you been in therapy before or are you new to mental health therapy? My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at and move together towards the changes you would like to see. I pull from a variety of different styles to address your goals, including skill building, CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed care approaches. I hope to foster a space where you feel seen and heard and where you are able to take care of what has brought you to therapy (or back to therapy) in the first place. I offer weekly, bi-weekly, or, in some cases, monthly sessions at 45 or 60 minutes in length via telehealth. All sessions start with a phone call where we 1) make sure I am the right fit for you, 2) verify your insurance or payment method is active and all set, and 3) schedule you an intake and an ongoing appointment time that works for your schedule. I return all calls and email requests for therapy services and hope that I may be of help to you at this point in time or, at the very least, be able to point you in the right direction.

College can look exciting on the outside and feel overwhelming on the inside. I work with students who are dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, focus that feels impossible, mood changes, burnout, or the pressure to keep it all together. If things feel harder than they should, you’re not alone. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide thoughtful, personalized medication management. I take time to listen, explain options in clear language, and work with you to build a plan that feels manageable and realistic for your life. You deserve support that feels steady, respectful, and not rushed.

The journey towards self-discovery is a valuable and worthwhile endeavor, deserving of the effort required to connect with one's authentic self. I believe in the inherent capacity for individuals to thrive and undergo meaningful personal growth. Throughout our work together we will create an environment where vulnerability is embraced, challenging conversations occur, and discomfort is acknowledged as a catalyst for growth and change, as we explore and unravel learned patterns that may no longer serve you. My therapeutic approach is characterized by flexibility, adapting to your unique needs and preferences. I highly value your feedback, ensuring that our collaboration is a dynamic and responsive process. Grounded in an intersectional understanding of trauma, neurodiversity, and systemic oppression, I aim not only to delve into your internal world but also to consider the impact of external factors on your well-being. Therapy with me involves taking the time to connect with your joys, struggles, history, and hopes, facilitating a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of yourself. Focusing on complex trauma and neurodiversity, I have a profound appreciation for the richness and complexity of people's stories. I am committed to supporting your growth and change while acknowledging and welcoming all facets of your identity. Furthermore, I am dedicated to my own ongoing learning on social justice topics and anti-racism, recognizing the importance of understanding my own identities (both privileged and marginalized) to create an inclusive and empathic therapeutic environment. I believe that my work as a therapist is not just about individual growth but empowering my clients to recognize and dismantle the damaging and broken systems in their lives. As the therapeutic relationship is central to our work and not every therapist is going to be the best fit for you, I encourage you to take advantage of my 15 minute free consultation. This way we can discuss what you are looking for from therapy and I can answer any questions you might have about starting therapy with me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Do you feel stuck or alone? Do you find yourself comparing your life to others? Do you desire a better tomorrow? To acknowledge that you are experiencing something that may benefit from professional support is a powerful first step. You may be noticing changes in your mood, behaviors, or personality as a result of the stressors you currently face or have faced. You will feel respected, heard and supported as we navigate the issues that bring you into treatment. With my collaboration and support, you can develop the skills you need to cope with life's stressors and ultimately achieve lasting psychological growth. For individuals, I specialize in the management and symptom reduction of depressive and anxiety disorders, as well as effective navigation of life transitions, relationship issues and identity formation (i.e. values identification, development of self-esteem, purpose finding/meaning making). I engage clients through a collaborative, integrative approach to foster learning of necessary skills and development of greater insight. Please note my fee for individual therapy is $200/session. For couples, I specialize in the pursuit of client-identified goals through effective communication, conflict resolution, and applicable skill building. I work with all consensual couples, whether they choose to grow, maintain, or end their relationship, regardless of monogamy status, sexuality, and sexual activity preferences. I work with adults (18+) who have difficulty managing their emotions and who struggle with depression, anxiety, impulsive behavior, thoughts of suicide and self-harm, interpersonal problems, or problems functioning at work or school. I provide evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help my clients change ineffective behavioral patterns, develop more helpful ways of thinking, and accept difficult realities in order to build the lives they want. I see therapy as a collaboration between client and therapist to work towards their goals in treatment and in life. I specialize in DBT, a gold standard treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder and related problems with emotion regulation. I provide a range of DBT services for clients. Hi, I'm Elizabeth and I'm so glad you're here! Therapy doesn't have to be stiff or serious all the time. In fact, I believe feeling comfortable enough to be your full, unfiltered self– including laughing, swearing, crying, or just sitting quietly– is where the real work happens. I use humor, compassion, & a deep respect for your lived experience to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. A big part of my work is helping folks build a better relationship with their bodies- whether you're fat, thin, in between, transitioning, aging, disabled, or just feeling disconnected from yourself. I work with people of all ages! I am trained in EMDR and also pull from modalities like CBT, DBT, and IFS. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; you’re not a checklist, you're a complex, layered person. I approach body image through the lens of fat acceptance and body liberation. Together we can explore what it means to live in your body without shame, pressure, or apology. Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and shaped by your needs, goals, and pace. As a queer person myself, I understand the importance of feeling seen, safe, & understood. If you're looking for a therapist who can hold the hard stuff, laugh with you through the weird stuff, and support you in building a life that actually feels like yours- let’s talk!

** Telehealth and In-Person appointments.** We all long for our experiences, feelings, and needs to be seen, recognized, and honored. I bring to our work deep respect for your concerns and suffering. I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work together which I approach with curiosity and empathy. I am most interested in what your unique experience is, and I aim to listen deeply on our road toward understanding. A safe-enough space will help us to transform your patterns of experience that interfere with your ability to be compassionate with yourself, to build meaningful relationships, and to work and play creatively, in other words, to live a fulfilling life. I am humbled by the complexity of human existence and feel honored to work with individuals from different racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual and gender identities, as well as spiritual and religious affiliations. In addition to my private practice, I am an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School (part-time) and supervise psychology interns and psychiatrist fellows. I served as the co-chair of the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology Graduate Student Committee helping young clinicians explore and develop their professional identities.
