Pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood can bring unexpected emotional shifts - anxiety, guilt, sadness, or changes in identity and relationships. If you're feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, you're not alone - and you don’t have to navigate it alone, either. With advanced training in perinatal and postpartum mental health, I'll work to help you feel more like yourself again. Together, we’ll create space for what you’re feeling and build tools to manage it. When helpful, we can incorporate movement-based practices to support nervous system regulation and body-based healing. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where therapy feels both meaningful and manageable. When you’re ready, I’m here. Reach out to schedule an intro call - I’d be honored to support you.

I am well versed in the transition from high school to college. I am familiar with college expectations, the challenges of making new friends, and learning how to be independent. College can be such an exciting time but also really hard! It is so important to learn strategies to manage stress and having a safe place to talk about whatever you need.

Our weight-obsessed culture chastises and shames you, as though your body size is not only a personal moral failing, but a reliable indicator of poor health. Over time, you started internalizing this anti-fat bias, and often treat yourself with the same level of contempt. You either avoid seeking medical care altogether, or expose yourself to the risk of weight stigma (far more harmful than any presumed adverse effect of your weight itself). You forgot how to nourish yourself – sometimes forbidding yourself food, sometimes isolating in shame for a binge, sometimes "paying" via purge. But friend, you are meant to bloom - not shrink. I know this may be difficult to believe right now, but you are already lovely, wise, and worthy of much more in life. I’ll hold that thought for you as you relearn it, and we use it as the foundation of our work. From there, we’ll integrate cognitive behavioral strategies with EMDR to gain insights from the present to heal your old wounds once and for all. You deserve to fully enjoy, nourish, and be at peace with your body. Learn to better understand your thoughts and emotions, and stop wasting energy on what others think. Explore the root causes of the shame you've been taught, and work to move past it – your deepest self longs to be known. Call me now for your free consultation, and let’s get started today!

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, lonely, or unsure of yourself, you’re not alone — and I’m really glad you’re here. So many college students and young adults struggle with anxiety, depression, sleep issues, relationship stress, or feeling uncomfortable in their own skin. It can be exhausting to carry all of that by yourself. In our work together, you’ll have a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, breathe a little easier, and feel seen without judgment. I’m a therapist who genuinely loves helping people understand themselves and feel more grounded in their lives. Sometimes that means learning practical tools to ease anxiety or shift unhelpful patterns. Other times it’s having a quiet, steady place to sit with your feelings and figure out what you truly want. My background includes an undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and master’s degrees in Public Health and Social Work from Tulane University and Westfield State University. My approach draws from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and DBT, and I blend these methods in a way that feels natural, supportive, and tailored to you. Above all, I want you to feel safe, understood, and hopeful about the changes you’re working toward. This is a space for you — to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with more confidence and clarity.

I've been working with young adults for the better part of the last decade within the context of their homes, schools, communities and families. I have also been supervising young adults as well as older adults in juggling school work and family with their career ambitions. Fostering growth for these folks, including in many marginalized communities is, to me, an incredibly important part of building lives worth living, and growing the strength of our communities. As a white cis-gendered queer therapist I have done my own work on my identity that has allowed me to see and show up for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks, as well as supporting other white folks in this work. My practice is rooted in anti-racism, anti-oppression, and health equity. Our mental health is not only our individual biologies and brains, we are shaped by the systems we exist within and this has a direct correlation to our physical well being as well. What you need in therapy may or may not relate to issues of oppression, and it is important for those for whom this is relevant to know there is a space to been seen and acknowledged for the ways this impacts your life. Growth and transitions can be incredible, and also very stressful. If anything you've read here or seen in my profile resonates. I would encourage you to reach out to see if we would be a good fit for the support you are seeking.
