If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re navigating something challenging—anxiety that won’t quiet down, relationship patterns that aren’t serving you, overwhelming emotions or depressive symptoms that make it difficult to experience joy and connection. Whether you’re facing a life transition, feeling stuck in your relationships, managing trauma, or simply seeking greater clarity and connection in your life, you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy is a place to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what's been weighing on you. Together, we’ll work toward deeper self-awareness, emotional clarity, and a life that feels more aligned. The world is too loud and moves too fast, leaving people feeling fragmented and disconnected from themselves and others. My practice exists to provide a rare sanctuary of stillness. I help my clients escape the noise, integrate their healing, and reclaim the clarity they need to lead their lives. I have worked as a therapist at an Ivy League college counseling center and am a former student-athlete. These experiences have positioned me to have a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by high-performers navigating the intense pressures of elite academia. My expertise also includes helping young adults and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, family of origin challenges, relationship issues, perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, life and career transitions, women’s issues, grief and loss, sports performance/mental health of athletes and self-esteem and empowerment.

Well, if you are here, welcome! I am Stacey. I know it’s a journey to find the right therapist, and I’m glad you found your way to TheraHope. Most of my clients tell me, "You really get me" because I understand that being a student right now is heavy. We will work together to navigate the symptoms that weigh you down - like a racing mind or total shut down but also the daily drama with friends, parents and partners that drains your battery. If you are carrying past trauma, we will work together to navigate that negative self-talk and truly understand the "why" behind how you are feeling. We will create a game plan at your pace. My goal is to help you stop just "surviving" the semester and actually start feeling like yourself again. I really do care about my clients and I hope you decide to join this therapy road with me! I provide therapy for adults and adolescents in private practice, specializing in mood disorders, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, addiction, and trauma. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic worry, low mood, and low motivation, including those who feel stuck in a functional “freeze” state, able to meet daily responsibilities but struggling to fully engage in life. I also support individuals coping with suicidal thoughts. My practice includes treatment for ADHD/ADD and executive functioning difficulties, such as challenges with time management, organization, focus, and follow-through. I also work with high-functioning individuals, including those with high IQ and nonverbal learning differences, who may experience frustration, overwhelm, or issues with impulsivity. I address addiction and compulsive behaviors, including substance use as well as problematic screen use, social media, and video games, often in connection with underlying emotional regulation and impulse control difficulties. I specialize in trauma therapy, working with both single-incident trauma and complex developmental trauma, including adoption-related trauma.
I support young adults who feel overwhelmed with school stress and anxiety, depression, relationship stress/dating confusion, and needing support with managing emotions. In our work together, we focus on: Calming the mental overload and racing thoughts, feeling more in control during moments of anxiety or panic, breaking out of overthinking and self-doubt, set healthy boundaries in relationships while working on the guilt, and building coping tools that actually work in real life. I’ll meet you where you are while also helping you move forward in ways that feel doable. If you're looking for support and practical tools to start feeling better, I’m here to help.
Feeling stuck or struggling with relationships? If you're tired of guessing why things feel hard, my assessments provide clear answers and paperwork you need for school accommodations. Whether you want to understand your patterns or get a roadmap for your brain, let's build a life that actually feels like you. See if we're a fit.
