I am a licensed clinical social worker with nearly a decade of experience as a therapist. I specialize in treatment of complex trauma and PTSD, with Level I and Level II EMDR training. Several years ago I also completed an advanced EMDR training in somatic reprocessing, and I use awareness of the mind/body connection in much of my therapeutic treatment. Additionally, I have a great deal of experience and training in DBT and CBT, as well as trauma-focused play interventions for children. I also use these interventions to work with anxiety, mood disorders, and OCD, and have experience treating PANS and PANDAS. I have a particular passion for working with the LGBTA+ population, and offer a focus on the traumatic nature of oppression in my work. I can help transgender clients navigate medical and social transition, as well as write surgery letters. Two years ago I completed certification through the International Transgender Certification Association.
