As a psychotherapist, I've had the privilege of helping clients navigate a wide variety of challenges. At its foundation, therapy is relational; it encourages immense vulnerability and asks us to place our trust in someone entirely new. The most rewarding sessions can emerge from intimate, yet difficult, conversations. For individuals and couples seeking services, I specialize in sexual health concerns, relational problems, life transitions, men’s issues, trauma, and any co-occurring anxiety and depression that may accompany these topics. When I meet with clients, I hope to nurture a safe, warm, and affirming environment. I approach clinical work through a non-pathologizing lens and value the knowledge, wisdom, and intuition that are developed through one's experiences. I operate from a place of empathy, curiosity, and cultural humility when navigating every interaction. In pursuit of providing the best mental health care, I completed an advanced certificate in sexual health and sex therapy at the University of Michigan. For individuals and couples wanting to address sexual health topics, I welcome conversations related to non-monogamy/polyamory, intimacy/connection, sexual shame/empowerment, desire discrepancies and low desire, sexual functioning concerns, and trauma. As a queer clinician, I am committed to improving the mental health of the LGBTQ+ community, yet I invite clients of any background to explore services. Not all people come to therapy with clear intentions for this work; some merely sense that they may benefit from additional support. I’m also passionate about providing LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC affirming care—everyone deserves a space that feels inclusive. You don’t have to face everything on your own. Our counseling services provide support to a variety of clients who are challenged by events in their life. Our therapists work with adults and children according to their needs using various treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Social Emotional Learning. Adults that are experiencing stress, anxiety and/or depression will find a compassionate environment to work through their difficulties as they forge a path to healing. Counseling services are provided through a safe and secure online platform at convenient hours.

I am a licensed mental health counselor. My goal is to support clients with their mental health as well as stress management, relationship issues, and finding the appropriate services. Therapy does not have to solely be for people in crisis. Being proactive with your mental health and attending therapy can have long-lasting benefits. My first goal when starting with a client is building rapport. In order for therapy to be effective, there needs to be a mutual trust between the client and therapist. I primarily use a cognitive behavioral and person centered approach to therapy. Although every session typically includes “talk therapy,” I also try to use a variety of interventions. I also have a therapy dog in my office who loves to cuddle on the couch with patients.
