We are moved to seek mental health treatment when traditional methods of self-care are not enough, when life becomes too much to handle on our own. Regardless of your specific issues, we will be exploring the ways in which creativity (especially music) can help you meet the challenges you face. Through our artistic collaboration and talk therapy, we will be able to discover patterns of thought and ways of relating that may be transformed through greater self-knowledge. Being musically talented is not a prerequisite for music therapy, just experience with the immense depth of feeling that music provides. As a humanistically oriented therapist, empathy forms the foundation of my practice. All material is welcome in sessions, and will be met with unconditional care. Part of our work together will be expanding our understanding of the material you present, and how best to use music to achieve your goals.
I believe therapy should be a safe, non-bias, judge free space where you can be seen and heard regardless of what you are going through. In our sessions together, we can challenge and explore where we currently are in life, and how to manage, cope and overcome obstacles with full transparency. If you are ready to take your healing journey seriously, we could be a perfect fit!
I am a mental health therapist who has had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges. My practice is focused on working with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. These areas are fundamental aspects of our mental health that, when addressed with empathy and evidence-based interventions, can significantly enhance one's quality of life. My approach to therapy includes evidenced based methods such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as well as mindfulness and relaxation techniques. By fostering a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment, I encourage my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly, paving the way for genuine healing and growth.
Healing is unique. The challenges and hurdles that one person might be facing can be different from another. Therefore, the journey of healing must be uniquely altered to fit and support each individual. Traditional evidence-based practices are utilized with the option of incorporating additional spiritual supports. With this formula, an improved quality of life is experienced. As a healer, my life's calling is to walk with you and shed light onto your own unique pathway towards the life that you desire. My hope is through sharing with you the tools I have picked up along my own journey, you will find your own toolbox filling with valuable aids. I specialize in incorporating spiritual aspects: Reiki, Past Life Therapy, Shamanism. If you feel that you may benefit from working with me, or would benefit from the approach I take towards healing, I encourage you to reach out. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

"It's a privilege to be able to bear witness to someone's story when they may not have had the chance to tell it before." I’m here to hear you; to sit with you through the tough stuff, lift you up, challenge you, and cheer you on as we work together to identify and reach your goals. I help teens and young adults challenge depression, face their anxiety-driven fears, build self-confidence, and manage life’s stressors by taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and building upon meaningful changes. I will help you identify and utilize your strengths, establish positive coping skills, improve communication, reframe the way you think, and build healthy habits. You are the author of your story, and I am eager to hear your history and help you identify what your next chapter holds. I believe people begin to heal the moment they feel heard, so it is my honor to be on the receiving end of what you are ready to share. I specialize in anxiety, stress, OCD, perfectionism, and body focused repetitive behaviors like skin picking and hair pulling. I will also work with you on self-esteem/body image, relationship conflicts, time management, depression, and life transitions.

Our world can so often be judgmental and alienating, especially to those whose identities fall outside of the social norm. In my practice, I take a compassionate, trauma-informed approach with the aim of creating a warm environment where clients feel seen and heard. My approach is a collaborative, interactive process, as I view clients as the experts of their own lives. I am passionate about supporting clients who are struggling with issues of shame, self-esteem, interpersonal boundaries, relationships and intimacy, oppression, gender and other identity transitions, and trauma. I practice from an anti-racist/-transphobic/-ableist/-oppressive, Health At Every Size (HAES), and poly- and kink-affirming perspective. I’m in network with commercial plans (not Medicaid/Medicare) for Aetna, Anthem/Highmark BCBS, and Quest Behavioral Health and will soon also be taking Optum (United Healthcare, Oscar, and Oxford). I’m currently exclusively working with Telehealth clients residing in NY.

Are you highly attuned to others, having been told you're "too sensitive"? Do you struggle with setting boundaries, people-pleasing or burning out from perfectionism and a constantly full calendar? It can be exhausting to balance the weight of being highly sensitive while also meeting the standards set by us, our families, and communities. These behaviors are often connected to earlier relationships, such as family dynamics that can shape how we interact with others later in life. Therapy is a space to help you explore how past relationships shape your present, empowering you to respond to stress in ways that honor your needs. I'm an LCSW with 7+ years of experience working with members of the queer community, neurodiverse individuals, and those managing chronic mental health and medical conditions. I’ve spent my career supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex family dynamics. We'll collaborate together to identify and work towards goals that will help you take ownership over your life and build the reality you want to see. Whether it's setting boundaries with parents, letting go of perfectionism, or beginning a challenging career endeavor- I’m here to listen and support you with warmth, curiosity, silliness, and honesty. I'm a queer, Jewish therapist who has experience working with queer Jewish community ranging from those who identify as secular to Orthodox. Navigating queerness from a religious framework has its own unique challenges. Regardless of your background, we'll work together to explore your identity and how that interacts with the world around you.
Welcome! At times, we all experience difficult emotions such as depression, anxiety, and self-doubt. These feelings can negatively affect our relationships, as well as work or academic life. You may be struggling with professional dissatisfaction, conflict with a family member or partner, or possibly just feel stuck and unsure how to move forward in your life. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and reflective space that empowers you to build insight, achieve balance, and accomplish your goals. I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and open dialogue, and we work together to facilitate growth and healing, and deepen your self-awareness. By listening attentively and combining empathy with compassion, I work with my clients to help them better understand their feelings and beliefs, and to utilize this knowledge to create more self-understanding, self-acceptance, and fulfillment in their lives.
