I love working with clients that are struggling with dating, relationships, or family conflict. I’m trained a few different modalities but all of them are direct and I give feedback. Our sessions will not feel like you are just talking at me. We will actively work together to figure out what issues are impeding your happiness and tools to change them.
I am a therapist-in-training providing sliding scale therapy under the supervision of Jessenia until May 2026. As a strengths-based clinician, I believe in creating a unique approach to each client based on that client’s goals and context. My philosophy is informed by my training in a range of modalities, including gestalt, mindfulness, existential, and behavioral methods. I also have training and experience doing executive coaching with neurodiverse clients. Working with LGBTQIA2S+ clients and issues is especially meaningful to me. My queer identity and mental health journey interweave and inform each other, and I find profound satisfaction working with people in the community. My previous experience working with LGBTQIA2S+ clients include long-term therapy, peer counseling, and crisis line work. Though my approach blends modalities, the core of my therapeutic approach is to lead with empathy and curiosity with all clients. The kind of rapport leads to a relationship whose pillars are trust, inquisitiveness, and openness to growth. I always aim to be an equal and a fellow traveler with clients in this work. I believe that a comfortable, safe environment where we can explore patterns and their roots is the most conducive to helping the client bloom.
My areas of focus and expertise address healing from trauma, family conflict, anxiety, depression, anger, adjustment challenges, and mindfulness. My dedicated work with children, adolescents, and adults, has served to reinforce my goal of holistically improving the lives of my clients. My job as a therapist is to support and empower you to reach your own goals within the context of a safe and profound human relationship.
THE PATH TO HEALING IS NOT AN EASY ONE TO EMBARK ON. It can be scary; full of twists, turns, highs, and lows. I am here to walk with you as a fellow traveler, supporting your emotional healing and well-being with compassion and acceptance. AS A TRAINED DANCE/MOVEMENT PSYCHOTHERAPIST AND LICENSED CREATIVE ARTS THERAPIST, I utilize movement, mindfulness, breath work, and somatic practices to encompass the whole self in the therapeutic process. I strive to help individuals improve their quality of life through a trauma-informed, client-centered/strength-based approach, rooted in psychodynamic theory. I WILL SUPPORT YOUR EXPLORATION OF GAINING DEEPER INSIGHT into your experiences which can assist in developing and maintaining a healthier, stronger sense of self, as well as more meaningful relationships with others. AS A BLACK CIS-GENDERED WOMAN RAISED IN THE SOUTH, I am passionate about creating safe spaces for black, indigenous, people of color battling through generational trauma, systemic racism, grief/loss, and oppression. I believe that by bringing more awareness to the mind, body, and spirit connection we can learn from the past, honor the present, and embrace the future with renewed hope.

Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. As a Filipino-American immigrant and career switcher (former medical student and tech sales professional), I understand the complexities of navigating major life transitions—whether adjusting to a new culture, finding your place in a demanding career, or balancing personal and professional expectations. I specialize in supporting high-achieving young professionals, first-generation Asian-Americans, healthcare workers, medical spouses, immigrants, and international students facing anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome, self-worth, identity, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences shape your present, helping you break free from patterns that no longer serve you. Fluent in English and Tagalog, I offer a space where you can unpack your experiences, build self-trust, and move forward with clarity. If you're ready to reclaim your voice, self-worth, and direction, I invite you to take the next step. Therapy is a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment and gain tools for lasting change. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone—I’m here to support you.
We assess each client's environment, family, biological factors, and experiences from childhood to the present day. We consider a strong therapeutic relationship to be the highest indicator of progress in therapy. Being able to be open with one another enhances the therapy process. Without a strong rapport between therapist and client, safety doesn't exist, and barriers to positive change exist. After gathering history and establishing rapport, we then tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. We provide EMDR (trauma therapy) as well as regular talk psychotherapy.
Do you ever feel like life is overwhelming, weighed down by depression, anxiety, stress, or life transitions? I know it can be scary to reach out for help, and I am here to provide compassionate care and a space where you feel understood. I understand that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, so you can expect me to tailor therapeutic approaches to your needs. Whenever you're ready, I am here to listen, support, and help you take steps towards the life you want to create.

Hi! my name is Kevin! thank you for taking a moment to view my profile! I believe that therapy provides an opportunity to talk about tough subjects without judgment, and the more we talk about them, the less stigmatized they can make us feel while opening possibilities for greater connection. I aim to aid each of my patients in discovering safety and trust within our therapeutic relationship to improve their quality of life and the lives of those around them. I have a strong desire to know the person (or people) in front of me as ‘people’ rather than a set of symptoms or diagnostic criteria. Beyond merely considering the symptoms patients are experiencing, I look at the interconnectedness of the systems that may influence what’s bringing them into therapy, including work, school, religious institutions, economic status, family, relationships, and more.
Therapy is not about “fixing” you, it’s about understanding you. You are not broken-you are human. Being human means experiencing various complex feelings that can be difficult to navigate and understand, especially on your own. No matter what life throws you, you do not have to go through it alone. As a therapist, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely heard in a judgement free environment. Together, we can collaborate to help you reach a place of self-improvement and understanding through recognizing behavior patterns, processing complex emotions, and exploring solutions to any challenges you may be facing. When working with me, you can expect a relationship rooted in trust, empathy, and openness. Whether you need a space to process, vent, reflect, or simply breathe-I will meet you where you are at. I will show up for you authentically, even if it means gently challenging you and confronting obstacles head on. There is no rush when it comes to your progress. Think of me in the passenger seat and you are the driver-you are the expert of your life and your voice matters most. Nearly ten years ago, I began my personal journey with therapy during a time of major life transitions. What stayed with me was the feeling of unconditional support and understanding I received. For the first time, I felt truly seen and encouraged to be vulnerable. This experience sparked a sense of strength and empowerment in me that I strive to help my clients discover within themselves.
When you’re craving real change but feel stuck—whether it’s anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or a big life transition—you deserve a therapist who truly hears you. Someone who doesn’t judge, who offers tools you can actually use, and who helps you understand the deeper patterns shaping your thoughts and emotions. My clients often want to feel more grounded, strengthen their relationships, build confidence, and move through life with more clarity and direction. Most of all, they want to feel more like themselves again—or discover who they’re becoming. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I draw from CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy to help you make sense of what you’re going through, develop effective coping skills, and move toward the life you want. I believe therapy should feel empowering—a space where you can show up as you are and be met with respect, compassion, and curiosity. Whether you’re looking for guidance, a place to process, or support in making meaningful changes, I’m here to help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
