College can feel overwhelming at times—whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, burnout, or just trying to keep up with everything on your plate. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I offer a supportive, thoughtful, and collaborative space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My approach is structured yet flexible and grounded in evidence-based practices. Together, we’ll work to better understand patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while building practical tools to help you feel more in control and confident in your day-to-day life. My goal is to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change—at a pace that feels right for you. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely okay to feel unsure. I’m here to meet you where you are.
For many queer, non-binary, and trans people, grief is not always recognized or supported. There is no casserole, no card. This may include family lost after coming out, a faith community that turned away, the loss of a beloved pet, grief related to sexuality or intimacy, or the changes brought by chronic illness. Some may also be carrying grief connected to earlier trauma that was never fully acknowledged. Unrecognized grief can be especially isolating. You may find yourself carrying something real and significant that others have overlooked or questioned. Therapy offers a place where this grief can be tended with care. I offer LGBTQ+ centered grief therapy online in Georgia and New York. Because grief is not a problem to solve, my approach is compassionate, steady, and unhurried. I pay particular attention to relationships and losses that were real, even if others didn’t see them that way. I support clients through losses that often go unrecognized. As a lesbian therapist, I understand what it can mean to grieve without witness. I specialize in losses that go unseen and am especially drawn to supporting LGBTQ+ elders navigating aging, caregiving, and loss. Reaching out can feel vulnerable. If you're looking for a place where your grief can be acknowledged and supported, I am here when you are ready.
Growing up can be challenging for adolescents- both in regards to mental health and in their relationships with peers. While mental health has become more prominent, there is often a hesitation that arises when it comes to discussing it. I offer a space, separate from their daily life and relationships, where adolescents can speak and feel heard by someone uninvolved and unbiased, but invested in being present and supportive of the adolescent. Adolescents are facing new obstacles both socially and within themselves, and while opening up can be hard, it is so important to do.

Okay, let me guess — life feels like a lot right now. You’re overwhelmed, drained, and stuck in patterns that just aren’t working anymore. Maybe you’re questioning your relationships, struggling at work, or wondering why you feel so disconnected. That glass of whiskey, wine, or weed isn’t helping like it used to. With nearly 20 years of experience, I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you process difficult emotions, release what’s weighing you down, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll create a path toward feeling more grounded and at peace. I help people work through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and feeling emotionally drained. ART helps resolve distressing memories quickly, while IFS helps you understand and care for the parts of yourself that feel stuck or overwhelmed. My approach is compassionate and direct — focused on helping you feel more grounded and in control of your life. You don’t have to figure it out alone. While you might not feel it right now, you know you’re ready for change. I’d be honored to support you as you take the first step toward relief and clarity. I’m out-of-network with insurance, but we can explore ways to make it work. You’re worth the effort — reach out when you’re ready.

I am a New York state licensed clinical psychologist, supervisor, and doctoral professor. I work with individual adults and couples experiencing distress due to fluctuations in mood, changing life circumstances, difficult relationships, and uncertain identity. Given my own multicultural identity, I approach every patient with compassion and curiosity for their experiences, encouraging those I work with to practice the same. I find that the most successful therapy is a result of healthy collaboration, trust, and creating a safe space to do the work. Let’s do this.
I work to give my clients an open and safe space to talk about whatever it is that has you reaching out for help. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+, ADHD and trauma. One of the most important things is that we work together to figure out the best treatment for you. I want you to leave our sessions feeling heard and understood.

For many, college is the best of times..the newfound freedom to discover who you are and where you’re going in your career and your relationships and the sense of all that’s possible. But, for others, it’s also the worst. Why? Because this is also a time of existential crises. New freedoms bring up so many questions: Is this really the relationship or career I want to pursue? If this is such a great time in my life, why do I feel so anxious, stressed, or depressed? Why can’t I regularly tap into the motivation I want to do all the things I’ve always wanted to do? Imagine how it feels… the waves constantly coming at you. You personally have to navigate these situations, because you’re the only one with all the answers. But it feels scary and shameful that you don’t have the foggiest clue of what you’re doing. And shouldn’t you already know by now?? Not at all! Truth is, college is a much more difficult time than most people acknowledge. But hard times can also be opportunities… for you to discover more fully who you are and how to embrace this ‘not-knowing.’ Our work together will help you learn how to make sense of all these different feelings, and cultivate the creativity needed to make something interesting and new out of all those questions. Instead of being pummeled by the waves, you can actually surf them! Instead of getting pulled in by the undertow, the barrage of self-critical and anxious thoughts that keep you up at night, I’ll help you learn how to approach these without fear and harness them so you can find your answers. Let’s get started! If you’re excited about putting aside the worry and the stress and finding your energy and direction again, call or email me so we can get started. College can be that great time you’d always hoped it would be.
I intend to help clients address their attachment and developmental trauma, often at the root of anxiety, depression, and other challenges, using NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model). Its heartfelt approach utilizes the shared human experience to support the client’s development and growth. . Within the modality’s framework, I create a collaborative environment where clients can reconnect to their heart’s desire as we address internal obstacles. In our exploration, the client finds healthier ways of relating to their self and environment.
What if getting better didn't mean spending years talking about everything that's ever gone wrong? I work with college and grad students to build real, lasting change by providing insight and skills that actually help. With over a decade of clinical work in the US and abroad, I've helped young adults manage anxiety, quiet the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that follow them into every exam and internship, while creating a healthy type of confidence that remains under pressure. My clients describe working with me as supportive, direct, collaborative, and nothing like what they expected therapy to be. We figure out what's driving the pattern. Then we work on changing it. I specialize in: anxiety, burnout and stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. My approach pulls from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, grounded in a trauma-informed model. You don't have to have it figured out to start. Currently offering Online Therapy throughout Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, and Florida. Whether you are in Boston, NYC, or Denver, I am ready when you are.
It is not uncommon to feel "trapped" in your own skin and feel out of control. This feeling overflows & disrupts our relationships, work/school, sleep, diet, exercise, finances & life goals. Desperation can cause us to reach for temporary solutions like fad diets, overworking, food restriction, over using substances & unhealthy relationships. You aren't meant to be at war with yourself everyday. Within therapy we will work on managing symptoms, finding the roots of your pain and healing where they originated using "parts" work & memory reconsolidation. I provide a safe place for you to be truly "heard" which is often underestimated. I specialize in disordered eating/body image issues using a HAES (Health at Every Size) approach. I work with people of all sizes as disordered eating does not discriminant. Other areas of specialty include grief, ADHD, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, anxiety, life changes and hormonal issues. It's common for these struggles to overlap. I understand how difficult it can be finding the "right" therapist. I believe in the power of human connection to be a strong component of therapy. I am humbled everyday by the trust my clients put in me to help them succeed. I offer a free phone consultation to answer any questions you may have which can be scheduled via email. Thank you for your time!
I believe that being in therapy is about creating space for positive change. When we can slow down and make room for ourselves, we can grow and create lasting adjustments that make our lives more balanced and enjoyable. I work collaboratively with clients, providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore issues, problem solve, navigate life transitions, develop new and creative coping skills, and strengthen one’s relationship with themselves and with others. I specialize in helping with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction recovery. I also work extensively with artists of all kinds who are experiencing creative blocks or stagnation in their art/creative practices and life. Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art materials and the creative process to help people express, process, and integrate their thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Art therapy is for everyone, not just people who identify as artists or have experience with the visual arts. Clients see me for talk therapy and or art therapy. All sessions are tailored to the preferences and goals of my clients. My approach is holistic and person-center, integrating traditional talk therapies and art therapy with mindfulness/body-based practices. I am a patient and compassionate therapist, who values humor and direct communication, dedicated to supporting my clients in their healing process and personal growth, enacting the changes they desire to see within themselves.
