For Sadar Psychological, the most important thing is the quality of life and functionality of our patients. We use scientifically based methods to measure, analyze and understand your brain’s functioning, to help develop a plan to maximize treatments and life style changes to help you feel and function your best. If you are looking to understand what might be the best type of treatment for you, we will serve as a "Primary Care Psychologist" and help you address your mental health needs. We begin by understanding your brain through collaborative work with researchers at Harvard University in the Neuromodulation Laboratory at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston with the aim of directing you to the the most advanced treatments in neuro-rehabilitation. I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, panic, OCD, and overwhelming stress. College can be an exciting time, but it can also bring a lot of pressure of academics, relationships, uncertainty about the future, and the feeling that you have to have everything figured out. Seeking support isn’t a sign that something is wrong with you. It’s a way to build resilience and learn how to handle the challenges that come with this stage of life.
Do you feel unsatisfied with the path you’re on? I specialize in work with college students and twenty-somethings who are navigating new life stages and want to learn more about themselves. Maybe you’re adjusting to starting/leaving college, or a new job. Or you’re looking to set boundaries as you gain independence from your family. I’m here to help you bridge the gap between your life now and what you want your life to look like, while also giving new meaning to the experiences that led you to where you are. I not only bring educational & professional experience to my practice, but also empathy & realness that comes from confronting my own personal challenges. Anxiety, self-doubt, low-self esteem, perfectionism, job dissatisfaction & relationship issues are common struggles of a quarterlifer as you navigate transitions in your 20s. Together we can separate those problems from who you are as a person, learn about the role they play in your life, develop ways to cope, & move forward towards your ideal life. I also work with those pursuing a career as a therapist. Whether you're a psychology or social work student considering grad school, you're a grad school student adjusting to your internship, or you're wondering if a career as a therapist is for you - I have years of experience helping students navigate the field and find a path that feels right for them.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s ups and downs with greater confidence, clarity, and balance. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, everyday stress, motherhood challenges, postpartum transitions, or simply trying to manage the demands of daily life, everyone deserves support and space to slow down and gain a sense of regulation and stability. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, understood, and empowered as you move through life’s challenges at your own pace. Therapy is a personal journey, and finding the right fit matters. If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
My practice primarily serves LGBTQ+, queer, trans, and gender-expansive adults, alongside individuals navigating complex trauma, relational patterns, and perinatal mental health concerns. My clinical approach is supportive, affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in relational and attachment-based frameworks. I integrate an awareness of how systems of power, identity, and lived experience shape mental health, and I strive to hold both individual healing and broader context in view. I have specialized focus in complex trauma, including childhood trauma, relational trauma, and attachment wounds. Many of my clients are exploring identity development, processing experiences of minority stress, or seeking a therapeutic space where they can fully express their gender and sexual identities without needing to justify or defend them. I also provide affirming care for individuals during pregnancy, postpartum transitions, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and other reproductive experiences. I am particularly mindful of the unique emotional and systemic considerations that may arise for LGBTQ+ individuals and families during these periods. While no therapeutic space can be perfectly free from the impact of broader social forces, I am deeply committed to creating a therapy environment that feels brave, collaborative, and respectful. I engage in ongoing consultation, supervision, and continuing education to support culturally responsive and identity-affirming care. My work is guided by trauma-informed principles, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and respect for client autonomy and self-determination. I view therapy as a collaborative process where clients are supported in deepening self-understanding, strengthening resilience, and moving toward meaningful change.

Hi! I’m Camryn, a dedicated clinical mental health counselor with a passion for holistic, trauma-informed care. I aim to create a safe, supportive space for the “misfits”—individuals who are often labeled “too sensitive,” experience intense emotions, or struggle with a sense of belonging. I enjoy working with individuals on issues including self-esteem, stress management, life transitions, grief, identity exploration, emerging adulthood, and complex trauma. I also enjoy working with artists and athletes. As a certified yoga instructor, I prioritize the mind-body connection and respect the body’s intuitive wisdom. My colleagues often describe me as exceptionally warm and welcoming. I am currently accepting new clients and am humbled and honored to walk beside you in your journey to healing
I am a Psychotherapist and Psychoanalyst with many years of experience working with undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. I worked for many years at Carnegie Mellon Counseling Center before transitioning to full time in my private practice 15 years ago. I work with a wide range of difficulties including stress, anxiety, sadness, feeling overwhelmed, difficulties with academics or relationships, family difficulties, homesickness, procrastination, concentration or motivation difficulties, uncertainty about life direction. I help students in both practical and deeper ways. I work well with students who want to understand themselves and their symptoms, and are open to exploring how and why their difficulties have come about in addition to developing better coping mechanisms. I often see students who have seen other therapists and have not felt a good connection or felt the therapy was not helpful. I am warm, empathetic and good at engaging adolescents and young adults. I offer practical techniques to address symptoms such as mindfulness, meditation and relaxation strategies if desired. In addition, I engage students in looking deeper for more lasting change. I see people virtually and have some in person slots at my office in Squirrel Hill.
