The therapy practice is called Lotus Psychology Practice because we find ourselves inspired by the lotus flower. It grows beautifully out of the mud. Life is hard. For many of us, we often become overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, loneliness, uncertainty, fear, you name it. To make things worse, we experience trauma and discover that some of our deepest wounds come from our relationships. Of course, we want to protect ourselves from relationships, change, and the unknown. I get that. From working in schools, residential facility, and private practice setting, I've learned that there is also something inside each of us that yearns for healing, loving connection, and pure joy. So, what is getting in the way? Let's explore that together. I have a non-judgmental and compassionate approach when providing counseling for individuals. What that means is I relate to you as another imperfect human being who understands the impact of trauma, life transitions, stress, anxiety and several other factors that affect our day-to-day lives. I will offer you a space to freely explore your struggles and opportunities for healing. Let’s be real, we don’t know each other and it’s going to feel weird at first to share your story with me. I thank you for even considering. Sometimes the hardest step is the first one. I recognize and respect that. Whenever you’re ready, I am ready to join you. You don't have to figure it out on your own.
My practice focuses on helping my clients identify and live according to their values. I meet my clients where they are at with empathy and acceptance, and together we explore their feelings, thoughts, strengths, and needs. I practice using a queer and trans-affirming, anti-racist, anti-ableist, trauma-informed lens. I tailor my sessions to meet the needs of each client, and I am also a certified Therapeutic Game Master who enjoys utilizing role play and games in therapy with adolescents and adults to practice skills for decision making, frustration tolerance, and managing conflict. I wear a mask at all in-person appointments and encourage my clients to wear one, as well.
You are the person that people often describe as intelligent, resourceful, humorous, well-liked, talented; an individual that accomplishes whatever they set out to do. You strive to excel at whatever you take on & some may even call you a perfectionist. You can't seem to understand why, or how, you continue to feel stuck, overwhelmed, tense, or perhaps, even sad or hopeless. The facts suggest you possess many of the positive qualities others seem to admire, and from afar, you appear to be someone that seemingly has it all! So why do you continue to struggle in your relationships, work or interests? Why don't you feel "enough?" To wake each day with the ability to say, “I am enough” & to actually believe it...THAT would be incredible! Managing or alleviating feelings of anxiety, depression &/or self-doubt, would be a freedom you've not felt in a long time. Being able to smile more & be more vulnerable in your relationships and life choices sounds like a dream come true! As your therapist I will help you identify the factors that interfere with you becoming your best self. We will work as a team to develop life strategies that work for YOU so you can better manage it all. I offer online, video therapy via a secure, HIPAA compliant platform, to individuals in New York State. If you think we may be a good fit please contact me for a free consultation.

You may find yourself feeling soft spoken, timid, and meek- but secretly waiting to speak- you feel like you are tirelessly trying to keep pace in a world that does not align with your rhythm. If feelings of anxiety are consuming or camouflaging themselves as reoccurring & normal, I am an expert in supporting you in breaking out of your shell, and dismantling old narratives about anxiety, and ADHD. I support clients in exploring their pasts to inform their future, and take control of their narrative. I believe building a healthy connection with yourself is the springboard to living a more fulfilling life and can enhance your ability to form deeper relationships, and show up for yourselves and others in a more grounded way. I do not practice with a one-size fits all approach, and empower clients to take the lead in their experience. I service NY & CT residents. Hello! I’m a therapist who believes that real healing happens through self-compassion, mindfulness, and meaningful connection. If you’re feeling stuck in the same old patterns—overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down emotionally—I’m here to help you shift that. A big part of my work is helping people feel their feelings in a real, embodied way. We’ll slow down, tune into your body, and start to notice what’s actually going on underneath the surface. I use somatic tools to help you reconnect with yourself and move through emotional blocks—not just talk about them. At the same time, I’ll support you in building practical skills that make daily life feel more manageable and empowering. I always keep a trauma-informed lens and acknowledge how systems of oppression and past experiences impact your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. Therapy with me is about creating space for change while being kind to yourself along the way. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
